I wanted to share something I accidentally discovered about AI.
I am almost shocked by it. ⚡

Even if you don’t do a lot of AI image generation yourself,
understanding this idea will help you understand how large language models like ChatGPT work. 🧠💡

We’re working on creating the best AI image generator

for products and personal brands.

But this is NOT easy to do. 😅

I knew that using many images to train a custom model is better than using 1 image (but I only had 1 image of my product).

When I trained a model on one photo, the result was terrible. 😬

But here is the discovery: 🎉

When I used the one image I had, and I created 30 different images from that one image (zoomed in, moved around, different background, etc.), then the model was awesome! 🤯

Also, there were some other tweaks our AI engineering team did behind the scenes, but the point is, 30 versions of the same image were far better than using 1 image.

Look at these 3 images:

The first one is the one I used to train the model.

The next image is the one generated when the model was only trained with one input image

The third one is what it looked like after tweaking and after using 30 training images to train the model.

First result - TERRIBLE! lol

Now look at this result below. Looks pretty cool right? And looks like the same as the training image.

That was shocking, because all of the information was available from just the one image.
It wasn’t obvious that using the same image, but just moved around, would make so much of a difference in the results.

But it did!

The lesson: 🔬

You only learn how they truly work by experimenting with them.

It doesn’t matter if you are experimenting with image models or text models. ✍️

The more you play around and experiment,
the better you will be at using them. 💪
