This productivity tip will save you so much time, I feel like I should be charging for it. 💸

The Problem with AI Written Articles 😡

First of all, I absolutely HATE AI written articles. I never write them myself, and I can always tell when other people use AI to write. 😤

But…

That doesn't mean you can't use AI to help save you time writing. 🕒

The Pain of Formatting 😖

The part I hate most about writing Beehiiv emails like this one (or any articles online) is all the formatting that needs to be done.

• H1 tags

• Emojis

• Bold

• Italics

• Affiliate linking

• Linking to my website

• Bla bla bla

The formatting takes a ton of time, and it's the kind of mindless work that can take you out of a flow state. Even if I leave it to the end, I hate it so much that it almost makes me not want to write in the first place. 😩

The Solution: ChatGPT's Memory Feature 💡

So what do I do now? 🤔

I use ChatGPT's memory feature. 🤖

1. Upload Affiliate Links: I uploaded all of my affiliate links into a ChatGPT conversation and told it to save them in memory. 🔗

2. Emoji Preferences: I shared the type of emojis I like in my articles. 😍

3. Newsletter Sign-Up: I shared that I want a "sign up to my newsletter" somewhere in the article — with a link to it. 📧 (I use for Medium articles)

4. Social Media Links: I shared the collection of social media links I want at the end of my articles. 🌐 (I use for Medium articles)

5. Affiliate Hyperlinking: I told ChatGPT to write a sentence about why I love using Beehiiv, hyperlinking the word "Beehiiv" with my affiliate link. 📨

Beehiiv has been an amazing email newsletter platform for me personally. So I've been recommending it in many articles because I know from firsthand experience it works well and it is worth at least signing up to the free plan for content creators of any kind. 💪

I told ChatGPT to save all of that info in memory.

The Test 📝

Then came the test…

I cut and pasted an entire article (which I personally wrote 100%) into ChatGPT — with zero formatting or anything.

I said, "I want you to format this article, without adding anything new of your own. Just make my writing look great and flow. Use all the information I told you to use in your memory."

And Boom. 💥

It was essentially perfect! 🎯

I cut and pasted everything from ChatGPT right back into Beehiiv, did a quick read-over to make sure everything was fine, and then I clicked "submit". 🚀

Even if you aren't writing on Beehiiv, you can use the same concept for formatting whatever you need to write on any sort of a regular basis. 📑
