GTP-4o Mini and AI Custom Chatbots

I want to share 3 quick things about AI I think you’ll like.

First:

I just got back from camping in New York State. 🌲 It was beautiful (Watkins Glen State Park).

It was great to get off the computer for a couple of days and unplug. Living in a tent was a reminder that the entire world isn’t about AI. 🌍

The weather was amazing—until all of a sudden—it wasn’t.

A huge rain/windstorm knocked out the power and sent a bunch of tree branches flying. 🌧️💨

Here is a picture of a picnic table that was crushed by a falling tree branch. This was about a 45-second walk away from our tent. 😱

It was another reminder about the importance of living life to the fullest. 🌟

Anyway… It was a great trip overall, and now I’m back on the computer! 💻

3 things:

#1 GPT-4o Mini 🚀

OpenAI just released GPT-4o Mini. This is great news for AI development. 🤖

Even though the “Plus” plan is only $20 per month for ChatGPT, any company that wants to use GPT-4o inside their product is paying a fortune to use the model. 💸

GPT-4o Mini is almost as good as GPT-4o, and it is 10x cheaper. This means that a lot more awesome AI products will be coming out in the near future. 📈

I’ll give you a real-life example of something we’re doing with GPT-4o Mini.

That brings us to…

#2 Custom AI Chatbots 🤖💬

With GPT-4o Mini, we’re really getting into making custom AI chatbots for websites. If done properly, these will be an absolute game-changer for any business (Most of the AI chatbots I see on company websites are terrible!) 😅

Imagine training an AI chatbot on your entire website. 

Then the chatbot is literally an expert about your company. It could answer about:

• Shipping 📦

• Any FAQs ❓

• Obscure information about your company 🔍

• Contact information 📞

• Etc.

The chatbot could also send links to get the website visitor to:

Oh ya, and the chatbot is automatically fluent in 160 languages. 🌐

Again, the important thing is training these bots properly. Most of the ones I’ve used are just terrible. 😩
