Learn AI to Get Ahead of 99% of People...

I’m pretty much glued to AI news. 📰 (I know I should get outside too!) 🌴😎 

I’ve been reading and seeing videos pop up where the topic is how AI is overhyped. We might be heading for another AI winter. ❄️ 

The basic idea is that even though the models are trained on exponentially more data and cost exponentially more to train, their improvements may be running out of steam.

It is like squeezing juice from a lemon. 🍋 Just because you squeeze 10x harder doesn’t mean you will get 10x more juice.

At some point, no matter how hard you squeeze, you won’t get a single extra drop of juice.

There are good points to be made on both sides of the debate (whether we’re slowing down or still on an exponential path toward AGI).

If you are reading this email, it means you are one of the very few people who are paying attention to AI and how it can improve your life and business.

I think the main bottleneck in AI is human’s inability to use it effectively.

Even if AI doesn’t improve at all from this point (which is extremely unlikely) then there should still be a huge incentive to learn to use it.

If the public starts hearing that “AI is overhyped”, then they will take their eye off the ball and stop paying attention to it.

We might be going toward the bottom part of the Gartner Hype Cycle. The initial hype, followed by disillusionment

You can take advantage of this opportunity by doubling down on AI and learning how to improve your skills.

A lot of people get frustrated with what ChatGPT can’t do, instead of focusing on what it can do (and how they can get better at prompting it).

We are trying to teach what we learn so you can get ahead of the 99% of people who are asleep at the wheel (probably more than 99%).
